QR Code Generator

Create customizable static QR codes for websites, Wi-Fi access, contact details, and everyday information.

In supported browsers, QR content is encoded and generated directly on your device. GoOmniTools does not actively upload that content to servers it operates in order to create the QR code.

How static QR codes work

The content is encoded directly

The website address, network details, or contact information is written into the QR pattern. The code does not depend on a GoOmniTools redirect service after it is created.

The content is fixed after export

This generator creates static QR codes. It does not offer dynamic destination changes, scan analytics, or click tracking. Create and replace the QR code when its content changes.

The destination still needs to work

GoOmniTools does not set an expiry date on the QR pattern, but the linked website, email address, phone number, or network configuration still needs to remain valid.

Choose the right QR code type

Website and text

Website mode is for web links. If you enter a domain without a protocol, the generator adds https:// to the encoded value. Text mode keeps ordinary text as entered and does not add a protocol.

Wi-Fi and contact

Wi-Fi mode supports a network name, WPA/WPA2, WEP or open security, a password, and a hidden-network setting. Contact mode uses vCard and can include a name, organization, phone, email, and website.

Email, phone, and SMS

An email QR code can include an address, subject, and message. Phone and SMS codes can prefill a number, while SMS can also include message text. The scanning device or app decides what action to offer.

Download formats and scanning tips

PNG for everyday sharing

PNG is a bitmap format suited to websites, chats, presentations, and image sharing at ordinary sizes.

SVG for layout and print work

SVG is a vector format that generally keeps edges cleaner when enlarged, making it useful in design software, print layouts, or further editing.

Test after customizing

Logos, colors, gradients, and dot styles can affect recognition. Keep the logo modest and maintain strong foreground-to-background contrast. The tool raises error correction when a logo is present, but you should still scan the final design on real devices.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between QR Only and QR Card?

QR Only exports the styled code itself as PNG or SVG. QR Card places the same code in a visual card with a title, subtitle, and footer text; you can download the card as PNG or print it.

Can I edit a QR code after downloading it?

You cannot change the content inside an already exported static QR code. If a website, Wi-Fi password, contact, or other value changes, update the input, generate a new QR code, and replace the old image or printed copy.

Will every device join a Wi-Fi network automatically?

Not necessarily. The QR code encodes the network details using the selected security type, but recognition and connection behavior depend on support in the phone, camera, or scanning app.

Will a contact QR code automatically save a contact?

The details are encoded as a vCard. Supported devices commonly show a contact preview or an option to add it, but recognition and saving behavior depend on the device and app.

Why should I scan the code again after customizing it?

A large logo, low color contrast, complex styling, print scaling, or poor output quality can reduce recognition. Test the final file with the target devices and at the intended viewing distance.

Is my content uploaded to GoOmniTools servers?

In supported browsers, the input and QR design are processed directly on your device. GoOmniTools does not actively upload that content in order to create the QR code; browser, device, and third-party service behavior may still vary.
