How to use Fun Spinner?
Fun Spinner is a locally-run random decision tool. You can use it to decide who pays the bill, who goes first, or play fun games at a party. The Poker Decision mode can randomly suggest your next move (for entertainment only, not professional advice).
- Who mode: Dynamically add or remove participant names, and the wheel will absolutely fairly select one person.
- Poker Decision mode: Check your available actions, and let the wheel decide your next move.
- Custom mode: Enter any options you need help deciding on, like "what to eat" or "where to go".
Frequently Asked Questions
Are the results truly random?
Yes. We promise this is a completely fair wheel. We absolutely do not use the standard pseudo-random Math.random(). Instead, we use the browser's built-in cryptographically secure random function crypto.getRandomValues() combined with rejection sampling to completely eliminate modulo bias. Every option has a mathematically identical probability of being chosen.
Does the animation determine the result?
Not at all. When you click "SPIN", the random result is determined instantly and securely via our cryptographic algorithm under the hood. The subsequent physical animation is merely a visual presentation of that pre-determined result. Regardless of frame drops, window resizing, or performance, the outcome remains perfectly fair.
Are my custom options uploaded?
The wheel options and random selection logic run in your browser. No account is required, and GoOmniTools does not use a backend to save those options. Temporary page data is cleared when you close the page.
